This is a must hear/view by most of our churched youth of today. This is a full length sermon (around 59 minutes) so sit back, relax and engage your mind. Share it with your teens. Sadly, after he preached this sermon he was not invited back to this youth conference.

Thanks for posting the link. I had not ever heard of this ministry, or this preacher. His preaching is spot on...

You're welcome! I agree, this stuff was dead on and totally biblical.

I can think of only one person in my life as a teen who ever bothered to share with me the stuff he preached in this sermon. I remember many years ago, after I was married and far beyond my teen years, thanking him for being a true friend and loving me enough to be honest with me. The man cried when I thanked him. God truly used this friend to work in my own heart and life.

I remarked to my husband, when we were only half-way through this message, that if I were a teen in that audience, I would have been in tears. I was nearly brought to tears listening today-because I fear sometimes that I may be going through the motions of Christianity. I question whether my heart is really focused on loving Christ and obeying Him.

We all need these plain, truthful wake-up calls in our lives from time to time. Shame on us Americans who think we have hardships, when people in some countries who profess faith in Christ are still martyred today for their faith.

Although this sermon was delivered at a youth conference, it is not just for teens. Every professing Christian needs to hear this. Although I do not agree with a few of his comments his message is definitely (as Gwen put it) a "wake-up" call. We all need to ask ourselves the question "Is my profession of faith making a difference in my life?"

The hour it took to listen to this message was time well spent. It is one of the best sermons I have heard in a long time.

Nie to see my Mom posting a comment on my blog...thanks for visiting Mom!

Ya, you're right -- it was an hour well spent. I watched/listened to it again today with a friend from church who promptly sent it to his fiancé. A timely "wake-up" call to be sure.
