The Director General of Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu campaign organization, Amb. Soni Abang has been honoured with a Plato Leadership Award by the Nigeria News Award a renowned media outfit based in Abuja.
The former Nigerian ambassador to Mali made the 2022 leadership award list based on what the organizers described as his track record in leadership, politics and human capital development.
The event which Took place in Abuja, the nation’s capital saw the attendance if several prominent Nigerians across all works of life including, politics, business, academia, sports and lots more.
The Nigeria News Award is an event put together by publishers of the nation’s foremost political magazine, the Nigeria News Magazine.
Last year, the APC gubernatorial candidate, Sen. Bassey Otu was also recognized and honoured by the media organization.
Amb. Soni Abang Is a highly respected politician and political leader in Cross River State. He hails from Boki LGA of the state. He is a one-time chairman of the local government and a former State party chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, before leaving the party for the All Progressives Congress.
