BREAKING: Youth Group Storms APC Secretariat In Calabar, Demands Suspension Of Sen. Owan Enoh.

Youths under the umbrella of APC National Youths Caucus of Nigeria this morning stormed the Cross River State secretariat located along the Murtala Mohamed highway in Calabar, demanding the immediate suspension of Sen. John Owan Enoh.
The youths numbering several hundreds informed the party that the call was necessary due to Sen. Enoh’s continuous refusal to listen to the hierarchy of the party and his anti party activities.
Leader of the group, Comrade Odung Michael who read the communique accused Sen. Enoh for working against the success of the party, he reminded the party leadership of the same tactics employed by Sen. Enoh against Hon. Usani Usani during the 2019 gubernatorial election. He advised that, at this point, only the suspension of Enoh, who came a distant 2nd position during the May 2022 APC gubernatorial primaries will save the party.

Responding, Deputy State Chairman of the party, Mr. Eka Williams who received the youths unbehalf of the Chairman Alphonsus Eba appreciated the youths for coordinating themselves in an orderly manner in pressing home their demand. “We have seen your letter, we will digest it and ensure that action is taken. “The party frowns very seriously with all our members who are still in court and I assure you that your letter will be given proper and prompt response it deserves”
Mr. Williams used the opportunity to call on Sen. Owan Enoh to listen to the voice of the youth in thinking again about his action. He assured the youths of the party’s commitment to the gubernatorial candidate of the party, Sen. Bassey Edet Otu and assured that he will emerge victorious at the 2023 Guber election. “from the feelers I have all across the state, I can say boldy that our gubernatorial candidate, Ntufam Sen. Prince Bassey Otu will become the next governor of our state.
