Election Coverage: Group Applauds ACROJ For Fairness, Professionalism

A political support group in Cross River State, Fusion 196, has applauded the chairman and members of the Association of Cross River Online Journalists, ACROJ, for their professionalism and fairness during the coverage of the 2023 general elections.
A letter jointly signed by the Director General, Mr. Dermot Akpoke and Secretary Apostle Christopher Akpan commended the unbiased role, and sound reportage played by ACROJ as members of the fourth estate of the realm.
“We commend your unbiased role as members of the fourth estate of the realm, your sound reportage was and remains a veritable instrument for advancing our most cherished democratic ethos, we appreciate that you all stood for the truth, professionalism and integrity”
The group further solicited for greater partnership as a new administration prepares to step in.
“Whilst we appreciate your immense contributions to the sustainance of democracy, it’s however our desire that the friendliness and partnership be sustained as the task of governance and reinvigorating our state towards new frontiers requires synergy for greater prosperity”
