Cross River Set To Complete Payment Of Pensioners’ Entitlements

The Cross River State Government has announced that all retirees whose pension payment could not be effected due to  incomplete records from the last biometric verification number (BVN) verification exercise should visit designated banks for necessary formalities to collect theirs.

In a press released signed by NSA Gill, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in Calabar, He urged the affected pensioners to visit the following First Bank branches for update, irrespective of whether they have an account with First Bank or not.

The branches listed are:

First Bank Calabar Road, First Bank Ekorinim

First Bank, Akamkpa

First Bank Ugep

First Bank Obubra

First Bank ikom

First Bank Ogoja

First Bank Obudu

“The exercise will commence on Wednesday, 17th April 2024, will end on Friday, 18th April, 2024.

“Please note that this exercise is not for all pensioners.” He added.
