Six-time national champion Patience Okon-George proved her class once again in the women’s 400m, storming to victory with a Season’s Best (SB) of 52.67s, finishing ahead of Team MTN’s Miracle Donald-Uwem (55.10s) and Pemisire Adepoju Adedoyin (56.29s).
The African Games gold medalist Initially wanted to open her season at the Grand final of MTN Champs in Uyo, but she opted to make the long trip to Lagos for her first race in 2025, and it was an outing that paid off for her.
Patience Okon-George will be hoping to maintain her dominance at the Grand final of the MTN Champs schedule for April 23 – 26, 2025 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
