Cambridge IGCSE English Award: Nigerian Student Bags ‘Top In World’

A Nigerian student, Kenechukwu Oluwanifemi Uba, pupil of Caleb British International School, Magodo, Lagos has distinguished herself on the global stage by emerging as the “Top in World” candidate in the November 2024 Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language.

The achievement was announced in a statement issued on Friday by Prof. Elvis Otobo, spokesperson to the Proprietor and Founder of the Caleb Group of Schools and University.

The award was formally presented during a ceremony hosted by the British Council and Cambridge University Press & Assessment at the Civic Centre, Lagos. 

Uba’s certificate was signed by Rod Smith, Group Managing Director of International Education at Cambridge, marking her achievement as a benchmark for excellence in English language proficiency.
