Consensus: House Of Reps Aspirant Congratulate Sen. Otu. Commend C’R APC.

An aspirant for Calabar Municipality/Odukpani federal constituency, Hon. Bassey Akiba has congratulated Sen. Prince Bassey Otu on his emergence as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River State.

Hon. Akiba, who is a former member of the Cross River state house of assembly and two term chairman of Odukpani local government area, described the choice of Sen. Otu as a significant prove and testimony of his wide acceptability across all political divide.

Writing through his political group, The Bridge Platform, the house of representatives aspirant said “The Bridge Platform wishes to very heartily congratulate the All Progressives Congress consensus candidate for the 2023 governorship election in Cross River State.

“Your nomination as the consensus candidate for the forthcoming 2023 governorship election in our dear state, is a significant prove and testimony of your wide acceptability across all political divide”


Hon. Akiba who also appreciated the leadership of the party for taking the right step in choosing Sen. Otu, pledged his commitment and that of his followers to support Sen. Otu and the APC as the 2023 general election approaches.


“Indeed, your nomination has rekindled hope in the minds of so may people in Cross River state that our state will continue to rise and sustain its glory as well take her Frontline place amongst the league of states in the federation. Recall that Sen. Bassey Otu had emerged as consensus candidate of the APC in an enlarged meeting which had in attendance all 17 governorship aspirants from the party.
