C’River: NACRISS Worldwide gets new leadership

The National Association of Cross River State Students WorldWide (NACRISS WW) on Friday elected new leadership to pilot the affairs of the association.

The elections which was keenly contested saw Comr. David Uke emerged as elected president with 97 votes closely followed by Comr. Godswill Andong with 39 votes.

Comr. Grace Odey edged out Faith Ogaga with 83 to 54 votes to be elected as vice president.

Others elected are Comr. Undie Kenneth as secretary, Comr. Simon Ingwu P. as treasurer Comr. Nyang Ese Ayaghambem as financial secretary, Comr. Effiong Ekpo Effiom as assistant secretary, Comr. Obibia Emmanuel Ojong as director of information, Comr. Bassey Felix Asuquo as auditor general, Comr. Akpa David Otona as director of welfare, Comr. James Emmanuel Egor as director of Sport, Comr. Adolphus, Adolphus Joseph as director of social and Comr. Onah Monday I. as provost Marshal.

Sen. Obriku, Emmanuel O., the electoral board chairman said that Inauguration of the newly elected officers will be announced soon.
