Efik Leadership Foundation Congratulates Governor Otu On His Supreme Court Victory

The Efik Leadership Foundation, a Non-governmental organization have congratulated the Governor of Cross River State His Excellency Senator (Prince) Bassey Otu and his deputy Rt. Hon. Peter Odey on their affirmation by the Supreme Court as duly elected leaders of Cross River State, averred that their victory stands as a testament to the overwhelming support, they both have received from the electorates.

In a congratulatory letter signed by Mr. Richard Duke who serves as the Chairman Board of Trustees of the Foundation, said that the journey from the tribunal to the supreme court amidst numerous challenges has undoubtedly tested the strength and character of Governor Otu, adding that the experienced prepares him to confront the significant challenges inherent in Governing a dynamic state like Cross River.

Expressing their believes that the court victory will bolster Governor Bassey Otu’s commitment to transparency and good governance that is essential for delivering on the mandate of Cross River State, being confident that as the dust settles, Richard Duke stated that Governor Bassey Otu is in an ideal position to swiftly actualize his people first Agenda.

He further said that as advocates and facilitators of Good Governance in the state, the foundation recommended that his Excellency Sen. (Prince) Bassey Otu focus on three key priorities that include policy making, Transparency in Governance, Education and youth empowerment as he embarks on Governance, trusting that the victory will usher in an era of unity, transparency and economic prosperity for Cross River State.
