Emana Campaign Organization Debunks Rumor That She Is Not Interested In House of Representatives Election.

The campaign organization of a major contender for Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar south federal constituency, Lady Emana Duke has debunked rumor making the rounds that, she is not interested in becoming the standard flag bearer of the PDP.

A statement released by her campaign organization, described the rumor as false and an indication that the wide acceptability and rising profile of the aspirant is heavily gaining grassroot support.

“For the records, Lady Emana Duke is an outstanding broadcaster and fast rising politician who is well recognized and accepted beyond the shores of Cross River State. In light of this, it is ridiculous for anyone to say she is is seeking limelight or trying to fit in by playing games in the political arena .

“We wish to make it very clear that, Lady Emana Duke has over the years proven to be a woman of deep integrity, honesty and steadfastness, a rare quality that has over the years endeared her to many in the state and across the globe” the statement reads

It described those peddling the rumour as “agents of darkness who have kept the people of the federal constituency in deep darkness and penury for about 20 years”

According to them “As a campaign organization, we are determined to lift the covering cast, off our people and bring about total liberation and freedom for the prosperity of all”

Lady Emana Duke who is a frontline PDP l for Akpabuyo, Bakassi and Calabar south federa constituency in thel house of representatives, have continued to make steady progress, with several party bigwigs openly declaring their support for her.

She seeks to replace Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi who has occupied the seat for the past two decades.

Hon. Ayi’s absence during plenary has been conspicuous in the house, prompting his constituents to call for his retirement from active politics.

The lawmaker is alleged to have only appeared on the floor of the house on the day of inauguration and remain largely absent after then.

He is said to have permanently relocated to Calabar due to detoriorating health.
