Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has reiterated that the Nigeria Football Federation should be headed by someone that knows the game, beyond party sentiment or politics.
The ex-international who turn 40 yesterday, while speaking on Comfort Fm Mid-Morning Sport show with Mighty George and the G-Unit, appreciated the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick for his effort in the Federation but believes it is time for change.
“Pinnick has done an excellent job and I respect him for what he has done for Nigeria football but I think it’s time for someone else to take the mantle and continue the race”
Enyeama who confirmed that he has stop playing active football also said that he sometimes feel tempted to go back and play, not for money but just to get away from boredom.
On the possibility of returning to the National Team as a coaching staff, the ex gaffer, said that he is very much willing to give back to the country if called upon.
Vincent Enyeama who is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers Nigeria has ever produced, had a 101 appearance for the Super Eagles, wining the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The NFF elections which is bill to take place in Edo, on September 30, 2022, started the sales of form for the elective position in the federation in Abuja, Yesterday.
