FASU 2024: Kareem defeat Uyioso in Men’s Tennis

Uyioso  S. of the Federal University Of Petroleum Resources Effurun, Warri, Delta State (FUPRE), is out of FASU 2024 following a straight-set defeat by Kareem K. of University of Lagos (UNILAG). 

FUPRE qualifier and most rated player in the school, lost 6-4. 6-0 in the second round play at the Lawn Tennis Court in UNILAG sport center today.

Meanwhile, other matches played saw Glover B of the University of Ghana earned a hard-fought win against Musa E. of the University of Lagos, 6-4. 6-0, with Michael T. of University of Ghana edging out Mohammed of Bayero University Kano, 6-2. 6-1 in the men’s singles.

The Women singles saw Abamu M. of UNILAG beat Onome L. of University of Ghana 6-0, 6-0, Destiny of Kwara State University won Blessing O. of Benson Idahosa University 6-0, 6-0.

GODWIN M. (BIU) lost 6-1, 6-0 to AMPAH T. (KNSUT)

SAKALA S. (ZAM) lost 6-1, 6-2 to TALIA A. (AUC)

OGBEBOR S. (UNILAG) lost 6-2, 6-3 to BAMIDELE O. (NILE)
