Mustapha R. Kemi of University of Ilorin has won gold medal in the women’s discus throw with a distance of 38.13m at the FASU 2024 games.
Kemi clinched gold with just 5 throw at of 8 to defeat Belinda Owusu from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana wining silver with a distance of 37.04m while Rukaya Sumaila of University of Ghana won bronze with a distance of 33.55m.
Meanwhile, Kemi had to do a double celebration with today being her birthday which also saw fans singing an happy birthday song.
