The member representing Obudu, Bekwarra and Obanliku federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Chief Peter Akpanke has on behalf of his family and the people of his constituency extended his congratulatory message to His Excellency Senator(Prince) Bassey Otu on his victory in the gubernatorial election and electoral litigations.

Hon.Akpanke in his congratulatory message stated that power comes from God, expressing himself as a notable reference point among the recent beneficiaries of God’s  divine benevolence. He continued that with the recent affirmation of Governor Bassey Otu’s victory by the Apex court, it is crystal clear that the coast has been cleared of any seeming distractions that could have swerved Governor Otu from the path of effective Governance which Cross River State desperately desires and deserves.

He further assured the Governor of his preparedness and positive disposition to collaborate with him and other stakeholders for the advancement of the state and to ensure that the dividends of democracy are regularly and promptly accessed and apprioprated by the people irrespective of their political inclination.

The federal house member sincerely prayed that the Government of His Excellency Senator(Prince) Bassey Otu promptly actualize the reinvention of the lost glory of Cross River State, wished the Governor a positively packed and rewarding tenure.
