Meanwhile, Akwa United coach, Ayodeji Ayeni, has assured fans that his team is completely ready for today’s match and will prove their worth.
Coach Ayeni stated that his team have the chance of challenging for the title, assuring that they will take each game as important with the abridged league because of fewer games to secure a play-off spot.
The last time these two teams met was 12 April 2008, when Bendel Insurance defeated Akwa United 3-2 in Benin failing to escape relegation as they finished 20th on the log with 39 points.
