NYCN State Chairman Lead’s Cross River Youths To Burial Of Late Sarki, HRM Alhaji Salisu Hassan

The State Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria(NYCN), Cross River State chapter, His youthfulness Obol (Comr).Emmanuel Olayi, today led a delegation of executive and members of NYCN in the state to Ogoja Local Government Area where they joined the Muslim community in the observance of the Islamic seven days burial rites and prayers for the late Sarki of the Hausa community, His Royal Highness Alhaji Salisu Hassan who passed away on the 3rd of September 2024.

The NYCN State Chairman who had earlier on paid a condolence visit on the family of the deceased on Saturday 7th September 2024 in company of the Cross River youth force and the leader of the Hausa Fulani youths, Alhaji zake Abdul, sympathized with the family members on the demise of their father whom he described as a peace loving man and community builder that has contributed outstandingly to the development of Ogoja community.

He remarked the several howling contributions of the late Sarki to Ogoja community which will forever be remembered. Stated that the demise of the late Sarki His Royal Highness Alhaji Salisu Hassan is a collosal loss not only to the family or Hausa community, but also the Ogoja people and Cross River State at large. Assured the family of continued prayers and support from the executive and members of National youth council of Nigeria.

The Hausa community who expressed several appraisals on the NYCN State Chairman, thanked him for his concern and recognition given to them ever since he assumed office as chairman, they promised to maintain a good working relationship with the chairman and his council throughout his tenure, partnering for the development of the State.
