Osogi lauds Gov Otu over Appointment of New Council of Chiefs Chairman

The Cross River State Commissioner for Environment Hon. Moses Osogi has lauded the State Governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu over the appointment of HRM Obal (Elder) Solomon Osim Edward, JP, as the new Chairman of Cross River State Council of Chiefs.

Speaking in his office in Calabar shortly after he received the news of the appointment, Hon. Osogi described the appointment of the royal father who is also the Paramount Ruler of Abi Local Government as disclosed through a Statement by the SSG, Prof. A. Owan Enoh as highly advantageous to the people of Abi.

Further expressing his appreciation to the Governor, the Environment commissioner stated that the appointment of of the Mornach is not just a blessing but also a drive geared towards the sustainability of peace and oneness .

He also called on the good people of Abi to continually support the Prince Otu led administration assuring more visible dividends of Governor Otu’s leadership to the Abi Nation .

He expressed optimism that HRM Solomon Osim Edward will lead with dexterity and integrity owing to his anticident and urged all traditional Rulers in the state to give the new Chairman an enabling platform for his success by way of providing unalloyed support.
