Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Ntufam Sen. Prince Bassey Otu has assured the people of new Ndebiji of his readiness to end the suffering of the people by working closely with the federal government to improve the level of federal road network in the state.
The APC gubernatorial hopeful said this when he visited the site of a collapsed bridge at New Ndebiji in Akamkpa local government area.
Accompanied by prominent indigenes of the LGA including, the chairman, Hon. Linus Etim, the house of representative candidate for Akamkpa/Biase federal constituency, Onun Dr. Emil Inyang, Commissioner for Social housing, Hon. George O’Ben Echi, among others frowned at the deplorable level of federal roads in the state.
He however, assured of his willingness to work closely with the federal government in other to improve the level of road networks in the state when elected governor come 2023.
Ntufam Richard Efa who explained the deplorable state of infrastructures in Akamkpa II state constituency narrated the ordeal of the people who have been abandoned by the federal government. He solicited for emergency remedy to assuage the people of eku and ikpai wards who have been rendered helpless while noting that with Prince Bassey Otu help has come to the people.
In his remarks, the APC house of representatives candidate for Akamkpa/Biase constituency, Onun Dr Emil Inyang noted that electing the candidates of All Progressive Congress will bring about a new phase of life for the people of Akamkpa as his cardinal objective to seek the people’s mandate is to ensure that the people have a better life and laws will be passed to this effect to reduce the pains of the people.
Also speaking, the Executive Chairman of Akamkpa Local Government Council who is also the house of Assembly Candidate for Akamkpa II state constituency, Hon Linus Etim appealed to the people to be calm while he join hands with other candidates in the All Progressive Congress to bring immediate succour. He appealed to them to be peaceful while help will soon be provided.
