Frontline political support group, Fussion 196 has organized a sensitization rally to encourage Cross Riverians on the need to register and obtain their permanent voters card as the nation prepares for the 2023 general elections.
The rally which took off from the Calabar cenotaph, through the murtala mohammed highway, terminated at the popular Efio-Ette round about.
Chairman of the organizing committee, Mr. Patrick Etim hinted that the initiative was an expression of their desire to preach the importance for citizens to take advantage of the ongoing continuous voter registration exercise and obtain their PVC.
“although Fussion 196 is made up of APC members and it is indeed a political support group for distinguished senator Prince Bassey Otu, this particular event is purely about lending our voice to the call on the all Cross Riverians of voting age to go out and register to obtain their PVC”
Also speaking, publicity secretary of the group, Mr. Joe Agbor assured that the same exercise and awareness will be replicated across the central and northern senatorial district of the state.
According to him, “besides this, the group is also planning as part of our programs, to organize a leadership training workshop for our youths in the state. Our believe is that it is necessary to groom other younger people so that they can easily take over from the elders”
Fussion 196 is a major political support group that identifies with the All Progressives Congress with a strong support base for the gubernatorial ambition of Senator (Prince) Bassey Otu.
