Senate President and colleagues arrive Abidjan to support Super Eagles

The Senate President of Nigeria, Senator Godswill Akpabio, his colleagues in the Senate and deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu arrived Abidjan early today to support the Nigeria’s Super Eagles ahead of their quarter final match against Angola at the ongoing Africa cup of Nations (AFCON).

The development is as a result of the Super Eagles impressive 2-0 win over cameroun in the previous round which led them to securing their spot in the quarter finals of the tournament.

The Chairman on the Senate Committee on Sports, Senator Kawu Sumalia, expressed satisfaction with the team’s performance and mentioned that 10th Senate assembly are thoroughly in support of the Super Eagles.The law maker expressed optimism on Super Eagles victory against Angola.
