The University of Cross River State Management has approved the conduct of computer-based Mop-Up Examinations in the University, scheduled to commence across all the Campuses of the University in two (2) weeks time.

The Mop-Up Examinations involve students who have not graduate from the University due to outstanding courses and failed courses to take.

In a statement signed by the University management on June 6, 2024, it said that the Examinations are only open to students who are up-to-date with their school fees payment, while also adding that payment portal is already open for those who are owing fees to pay up in order to qualify to register for the Examinations.

According to the statement, a Mop-Up fee of 10 thousands Naira only, shall be paid for every course registered for the Examinations, noting that Payment of School Fees as well as Mop-Up Fees shall be done through the University Edu-Portal in the usual way

The management also noted that failure of any student to adhere to the guidelines may result in his/her inability to participate in the Mop-Up Examinations, and may not have the opportunity to re-enroll for the Examinations.

It also assured all students that the results of the Mop-Up Examinations will be processed and released promptly.
