In a press release signed by the registrar, Mr Victor Ene, dated February 25, 2025, states that the management is making effort to address the prevailing challenges to ensure the smooth resumption of the Second Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Session.
The release urged all students, Staff, and other Stakeholders to exercise patience and show understanding while the issues are being handled.
“A formal announcement regarding the resumption date shall be made as soon as circumstances permit.
“We wish all Students a fruitful and restful break and pray for God’s guidance and protection over them during this period. The statement added
The Parchment earlier reported that break was due to dispute by the four labour unions in the university – SSANU, NASU, NAAT, and ASUU, demanding for the implementation of new minimum age and consequential salary adjustment from the management.
