UNICROSS announces two weeks closure over nationwide protests

The University of Cross River State, UNICROSS has announced closure of the institution for two weeks in-view of the planned nationwide protest being organized by some Civil Society Organizations and others in the country effective August 01, 2024.

In a press release by the school management on Friday, July 26, 2024, it’s reads “the Management of the University has decided to give a break of two (2) weeks to the students with effect from Tuesday 30m July, 2024, in order to ensure the safety of the lives of our Students.

“Consequently, all lectures, examinations, tests and other academic activities will be suspended as from that date.

“Students are advised to vacate their halls of residence immediately this break takes effect.

“Normal academic activities will resume on Monday, August 12, 2024.” The statement added.
