The University of Uyo, has matriculated 4,364 students for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Speaking during the 32nd matriculation ceremony on Friday, April 4, 2025 at the main campus of the University in Nwaniba, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Nyaudoh Ndaeyo congratulated the students on their successful admission and matriculation.

Professor Ndaeyo said that the University of Uyo is not just a place of learning; but a community that thrives on diversity, collaboration and mutual respect.

He further advised the students to respect constituted authority and forge friendships that will last a lifetime and build a network that would extend beyond the confines of their various campuses.

“Your generation is waiting for your manifestation. Do not disappoint yourselves, your parents, your families, your admirers, your states, your country and humanity.

“Let the nurturing hands of the University of Uyo pass through you so that at the end you will be a totally liberated human being and a masterpiece worthy of being showcased globally.” Professor Ndaeyo added.
