The University of Calabar Vice Chancellor, Prof. Florence Obi, says the university management will soon publish names of students asked to withdraw over poor academic performance.
Prof. Obi announced this today while speaking on UNICAL Radio special Interview session, surrounding challenges of Unical students with course registration and results.
“For course registration, this is not my policy nor the Vice Chancellor’s policy but the university’s policy that students must register their courses. The only difference now is that the courses are registered on online”
“The online registration is to put the best interest of our students forward, to make sure our students no longer suffer unduly and unnecessarily. The student must register now using any of their gadgets”
Prof. Obi explains that the system is to help the students know their failed courses and ensure they register them first before any other registration.
The VC further stated that it will help the institution and students know their stand and take the necessary action rather than parading themselves as a student.
