C’River: Deputy Governor Receives New Brigade Commander Of 13 Brigade Command, Nigerian Army in Calabar

The deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter odey, today in his office at Government House Calabar, received the newly posted 13 Brigade commander of the 13 brigade Army headquarters calabar, Brigadier General I.M Ibrahim.

The new brigade commander, General I. Ibrahim who visited the deputy Governor in company of the outgoing brigade commander, Major General E. I. Okoro, said his visit is for the purpose of familiarization with the Government of Cross River State for continuous effective security services delivery to the Government and people of Cross River State by the Nigerian Army.

Interacting with the Army personnel’s, the deputy Governor commended the outgoing brigade commander for his ingenious commitment to combatting crime and ensuring the security of lives and properties in Cross River State, assured him of continued support from the state Government to his successor as security is a priority to them as a Government that is committed to offering the residents and indigenes of the state comfort and development.

Rt. Hon. Odey reassured the new brigade commander of collaboration between the Government of Cross River State and the Nigerian army for their unfettered operations in the state.
