The Honourable Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Elvert Ayambem  has described the special assistant on general duties to the Governor of Cross River State, Barr. Ekpenyong Akiba as a strong shoulder to the youths and the rallying point for the new generation, said God did not make any mistake to create him and especially give him to the people of Cross River.

The speaker made the alluring remarks during the 2024 birthday anniversary celebration of Barr. Ekpenyong Akiba on Saturday, February, 18th, in calabar, where he extolled Barr. Ekpenyong Akiba for his proven friendship that cuts across all boundaries and walks of life, puting smiles on the faces of lots of people of all ages in Cross River and across as both those that have known him in the past and those that have known him almost immediately have extremely enjoyed his humanitarian gestures and deep positive affection.

The speaker wished the celebrant well and prayed that the seeds of goodness he has planted would germinate and yield good fruits, while his good legacies continue to speak for him now and after.
