Cross River state sets aside Jan 27 for environmental sanitation exercise

The Cross River State Government has announced Saturday, January 27, 2024, as a day for environmental sanitation exercise across the state.

The Commissioner for Environment, Cross River State, Hon. Moses Osogi, in a press release, stated that a clean environment is everyone’s business, demanding for the participation of business owners, market women, vendors and residents In the evacuation of waste around their homes and environment during the hours of sanitation.

The statement emphasized that, there will be restriction of vehicular and human movement between the hours of 7am and 10am except for those on essential duties. Emphacised that any culprit found wanting would be charged and tried by the mobile court .

Finally, he advised residents and indigenes of Cross River State to keep the state clean, green and serene.
