The lawmaker representing Calabar Municipality/Odukpani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Bassey Akiba, alongside his Aides, took part in the Saturday, 27th January, 2024 State-wide environmental sanitation exercise, commending Governor Bassey Otu for restoring the aesthetics of the state.

Hon. He said the deliberate programme to rebuild infrastructure has given the city a massive facelift that contributes to attracting tourism and creating wealth.

“I commend the Government of Cross River State for developing the City beyond its previous position. You can see all the roundabouts, the roads, the gardens that are being renewed. These will attract visitors and positively impact on the economy “, he said.
